Frederick F. McGuire

Frederick F. McGuire, 87 of Barnegat, passed from this life peacefully at home on Saturday, January 21, 2023.  Frederick was born to the late James and Eileen on September 1, 1935, in West Orange, New Jersey.  He was a loving husband to Julia McGuire for the past fifty-nine years, devoted father and grandfather.  He will be remembered as a hardworking and good-natured man that always lived his life to care for his family above everything else. Proud veteran of the United States Army. Thirty plus year member of Local 68 Operating Engineers. Member of the Irish American Society of the Oranges. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.

Frederick is predeceased by his son, Kevin McGuire; his parents, James McGuire; Eileen Halfpenny McGuire; his brothers James McGuire and Jack McGuire.

Frederick is survived by his wife, Julia Donovan McGuire; sons, Michael McGuire; Sean McGuire and his wife Yolanda; daughter in law, Kelly O’Neil McGuire; sister, Nina Zimkus and her husband Lenny; grandchildren, Caitlin; Tess; Hector and Nydia; and great grandchildren, Justin; Jacob; Jonathan; Michael; Joseph; and Geena and Yolene.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, New Jersey.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Barnegat with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Manahawkin.
