Obituary
Gaspare “Gep” Rimpici, 92, of Holiday City West, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Queens, NY before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1997.
Gep was an Aircraft Mechanic for National Airlines and Pan Am at JFK International Airport for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a United States Air Force Korean War Veteran.
Gep was a member of the Machinist Union, New York City and the Transport Workers Union, New York City.
He was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Toms River.
Gep was predeceased by his wife, Nancy, in 2008, and his four siblings Nick, Ann, Bea and Mary.
He is survived by his son Rick and his wife Jani of Summit, NJ, his daughter Jill and her husband Zoran of Howey in the Hills, FL, and two grandchildren Amanda and Andrew.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 7, 2023 2:00pm – 5:00pm with a 4:00pm service at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals , 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Burial to take place Tuesday, August 8, 2023 12:30pm at Canarsie Cemetery, 1370 Remsen Avenue, Brooklyn,
