Hedwig Teresa Ives

Hedwig Teresa Ives, 90, passed from this life July 10, 2020. She was born December 18, 1929 in Bayonne, New Jersey to the late John and Maryann Dobrokielski. She was a typist for American Express in New York. She raised her children as a stay at home mom in Bayonne, New Jersey and later moved with her husband Ralph to Camden, Delaware, where they enjoyed their retirements life until Ralph’s passing. She remained in Delaware until 4 years ago, where she moved into Complet Care At the Havens. She was very much involved with the rosary as well as crafts. She loved to crochet and made beautiful things for us to treasure. She was a loving mother, devoted wife and friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

Hedwig is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Ralph Ives; and son, James G. Ives.

Hedwig is survived by her son, Robert T. Ives and his wife Barbara of Newark, Delaware; daughters, Ramona Tazzetto and her husband Jack of Staten Island, New York; Linda M. Melson of Point Pleasant; and Jeanette Brudnicki and husband Pierre of Toms River; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 9am to 10: 30 am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Tuesday, July 14 at St. Justin the Martyr Catholic Church, Toms River.
