James Hegarty, III Obituary

James R. Hegarty, III, 71 of Berkeley Township, passed from this life peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 5, 2026. James was born on October 13, 1954 in Spokane, Washington. He was a devoted husband, loving son and trusted brother. He was a Podiatrist and the owner and operator of Cliffside Footcare in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. He was an avid reader, loved History and was a simple man that enjoyed keeping active with his spouse and dogs. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

James is predeceased by his father, James Hegarty, II and brother, Thomas Hegarty.

James is survived by his mother, Joan Schelberg Hegarty; wife, Elizabeth Ciarletta Hegarty; brothers, Richard Hegarty and his wife Lauren and Robert Hegarty and his wife Robin.

All Committal Services will be handled privately at the direction of Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals.
