James R. Hoffman

James Richard Hoffman, 86, passed from this life peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026. James was born to the late Harry and Mary.

James was a beloved  husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jim was a talented Engineer and received awards and distinctions for his work. He was a great craftsman, always building with his hands. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, dancing and speed skating. James met his many health challenges with strength, courage, and dignity.

James is predeceased by his parents, Harry Hoffman and Mary Duffy.

James is survived by his wife, Joan, daughters, Jill  and her husband Leon , Staci  and her husband Donny,  Debra/ son, Scott  grandchildren, Joshua ; Will , Megan, Victoria,  Elizabeth  and Katherine,  stepsons: Robert L(wife Cheryl); Ralph  (fiancee Sue).

All Committal Services will be handled privately at the direction of Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals
