Jean (Barrasso) Jinks

Jean Jinks (nee Barrasso), 94 of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Born in Irvington, NJ, she lived in Roseland, NJ before moving to Toms River.

Jean and her husband Ed  owned and operated Oscars Luncheonette in East Orange, NJ for many years.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ed, her parents John and Jennie Barrasso and sisters Grace Barrasso, Lucille Schadt, and Ann DeMeo.

Jean is survived by two daughters; Barbara Daly (Mike) and Judith Collucci; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to AnnMarie Tedesco for her incredible kindness and support she showed Jean.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 12:00pm noon at St Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.

The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in Jean's memory may be made to   St. Jude Childrens's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
