Jean E. Timoni

Jean E. Timoni, 91, of Normandy Beach, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Jean was born in Elizabeth, NJ and lived in Scotch Plains and Westfield, NJ before moving to Normandy Beach, NJ as a full-time resident in 2012 where she and her family summered from 1970-2012.

Jean was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Before becoming a mother, Jean worked as a legal secretary for Prudential in Newark, NJ.

Jean was a parishioner of St. Pio of Pietrelcina in Lavallette, NJ.

Jean is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Helen Petrone and daughter in law Barbara (Ramondelli) Timoni.

Surviving is her husband of 70 years, Vincent Timoni of Normandy Beach, NJ; her sons Stephen Timoni and his wife Cynthia (Yarusi) of Green Brook and Normandy Beach, NJ and Michael Timoni and his wife Tina (Pietrontone) of Colonia, NJ and Rotonda Beach West, FL.; her sisters Delores Carr and Barbara Ambrose and her Grandchildren Lauren, Andrew, Christina, John and Michelle and two step grandchildren John and Thomas Kiernan.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 27, 2020 from 9-10am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 706 Grand Central Ave. Lavallette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday July 27, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina in Lavallette, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
