JoAnn M. Donnarumma, 84, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Born in Union, NJ, she lived in Iselin, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. 25 years ago.
JoAnn is a former Benedictine Sister for the Diocese of Newark. She was a teacher and bank teller before she retired.
She is a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., where she was very involved. She and her husband were volunteers for the rescue squad in Toms River, NJ. She also loved to crochet and made her niece's children crocheted Christmas stockings and baby blankets.
JoAnn was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Julia Stawski and her husband of 35 years Charles Donnarumma her sister Dolores Stawski and brother Richard Stawski.
She is survived by her nieces Tracy Butth (Scott), Tina Leonardis (Matt), Shannon Corea (Marc), Danielle Reid and Desiree Tonzola (Anthony), sister in law Andrea Romano and sister in law Karen Stawski.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, January 7, 2026 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial to follow at the BG General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
