Joan W. Zurich

Joan W. Zurich (nee Wojnowski), 99, of Barnegat, NJ, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Toms River, NJ and Manchester, NJ before moving to Barnegat.Joan was a bookkeeper for her late son, William Zurich, Jr., M.D. in Toms River.

She was predeceased by her husband William M. Zurich, Sr. in 2011 and her son William M. Zurich, Jr., M.D. in 2008.

Joan is survived by her daughter and son in law Celeste and William Eckert of Barnegat, NJ, daughter-in-law Virginia six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 10:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

In lieu of flowers donations may be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
