John C. Brown

John Charles Brown, 76, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in New Britain, CT, he lived in Brick, NJ, before moving to Toms River 21 years ago. John proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired after 23 years of service as a Sergeant First Class, he then established a career as a Logistics Specialist for Military Contractors and retired from the US Post Office after 9 years. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Claire. John is survived by his loving wife Judy (Sudzuk), his son Doug Brown of Jackson, NJ, his daughter Jodi Smith of Texas, brother Charles Brown, three grandchildren; Nicholas, Bryce, and Toby, as well as his in-law’s; The Sudzuk’s, Servedio’s, Koerkel’s, and their families. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 2 to 4pm with military honors to be offered at 4:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the ASPCA or a charity of your choice in John’s memory.
