John A. Conklin, 75 of Berkeley Township, formerly of Bayville, formerly of North Bergen, passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023. John was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on November 29, 1947 to the late John and Caroline Conklin. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and trusted friend. He was a Truck Driver for APA Transport in North Bergen.
He was a an avid New York Giants fan.
John is predeceased by his parents, John Conklin; Caroline Thorry Conklin and Cousin, Dennis Monroe.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Lillian Sbarbaro Conklin; sons, Shawn Conklin and his wife Cheryl of Pittsboro, North Carolina; Brian Conklin and his wife Donna of Ocean Gate; Step Son, Steven Lisefski of Berkeley Township; Step Daughter, Stacey Murray and her husband Anthony of Ridley, Pennsylvania; sister Judith Krempa of Paramus, NJ; grandchildren, Noelle; Nicole; Lucas; Brenna; Brealyn; great grandchildren, Lincoln and Colton.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel, 706 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. A Service will be held at the Funeral Home beginning at 6pm during the viewing.
