John Dabek

John Dabek, 75, of Ortley Beach and Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Born in Germany, he lived in Raritan, NJ before moving to Bridgewater 51 years ago.
He enjoyed many summers in Ortley Beach throughout the past 25 years of his life.
John retired as a Maintenance Mechanic for Reckitt & Benckheiser Co. in Belle Mead, NJ.
He is preceded in death by his wife Helyn (Arms) Dabek, his parents Ignacy and Catherine Dabek, and his brother Ignacy Dabek.
John will be forever missed by his loving family; daughter Kathlene and her husband Bradley Mora of Bridgewater, NJ, son John Dabek, Jr. and his fiancée Kathy Kirkeby of Chanhassen, MN, his brother Edward and his wife Heidi Dabek, sister Elizabeth Vella and her husband Paul, three grandchildren Justine and her husband Jon, Ryan, and Brendan, as well as two great grandchildren Chase and Channing.
Arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Ave., Seaside Park, NJ.
