John M. Sullivan

John M. Sullivan, 75, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Born in New York City, he was a longtime resident of Long Island, NY before retiring to Toms River 19 years ago.

John was a Customer Service Representative for Con Edison in Queens, NY for over 30 years.

He was a parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River.

John was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Bridie Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catherine (nee Lynam), his daughter Jennifer Burstein and her husband Mark of Ossining, NY, a brother Eugene Sullivan of Manalapan, NJ and two beloved grandchildren Dillon and Evan.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 29, 2024 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, September 30, 2024 9:30am at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River.  Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
