John H. Mach, a devoted father, cherished husband, loving brother and loyal friend passed away on September 1st, 2024. Born on November 7th,1951, John lived a life marked by love, hard work and unwavering dedication to his Family. Having grown up In New Milford NJ, John played sports, baseball and football and drove around town in his beloved 1971 Corvette. His most memorable summers were spent in New Fairfield Connecticut on Candlewood Lake where outdoor adventure and antics became life-long memories. John always relished in the memories of those carefree days and the friends who made it so special. Earning a Bachelor of Science in May 1975 as a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ, his early career started in retail management and reached a pinnacle as the Assistant Store Manager of the Rowe-Manse Emporium, Clifton NJ. John then earned a certification of Computer Programming in February 1986 at the Computer Learning Center, Paramus NJ.This secured an illustrious 20 year career as an IT Help Desk Manager at United Parcel Service, Mahwah NJ. His career passion next came in two phases. First, as the co-proprietor of Cheesesteak Express, Wayne NJ and then as a car salesman for Rockland Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in Nanuet NY. Oh for the love of cars and cheesesteaks! John was known for his genuine spirit, his generosity and ability to bring John Mach humor and comfort to those around him. His wisdom, strength and comedic relief will be deeply missed. He will be remembered with deep affection and respect by all who knew him. His legacy of love and passion will continue to inspire us. John’s legacy will truly live on thru his daughter Amy Lynn Mach, Marina del Rey, CA, his son Travis Mach, Ramsey, NJ, devoted wife of 38 years Nancy Deerey-Mach,Toms River, NJ, his sister Lois Leuthner, Hawthorne, NJ, extended family including Judith Messineo, and the joy of a lifetime of friends. A Celebration Of Life will be planned for November 2024 in honor of his memory. Know that there will always be a Ribbon in The Sky for our Love.
