John H/ Moser, Sr.

John H. Moser, Sr., 72 of Toms River, NJ died on Monday September 20, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.

John was born in Long Branch, NJ and lived in Matawan, NJ, Texas and Germany before moving to Toms River, NJ 30 years ago. He proudly retired from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant in 1987, earning metals in Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Badge (Rifle and Pistol) and Combat Infantryman Badge. John was a member of DAV 24 and the American Legion.

John is predeceased by his parents Fred and Dorles Moser and his brother Fred Moser.

Surviving are his wife Maureen Moser; his children Kimberly Moser of Toms River, NJ and John H. Moser, Jr. and his wife Zoe of New Hampshire and his sisters June Madga, Micky Kibbe and Patricia Swartzel.

The family will receive friends on Monday September 27, 2021 from 3-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 995 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at St. Justin RC Church in Toms River, NJ. Burial will follow to BG William C Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
