Joseph Cucci

Joseph Cucci Sr., 85 of Toms River, formerly of Hillside, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.  Joseph was born in Newark, New Jersey to the late Joseph Cucci and Anna Rusigurolo Cucci on September 2, 1935.  He was a loving husband, devoted father and friend to many. He volunteered at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Newark, NJ and was a member of the Toms River Senior Club. He worked for Becton and Dickinson in West Caldwell, New Jersey for 45 years, retiring at age 63. He will be greatly missed.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Elizabeth Cucci (nee Sansone); brother, Anthony Cucci and sister, Palma Candido.

Joseph is survived by his son, Joseph P. Cucci and his wife LoriAnn of Toms River; grandchildren, Joseph and Anthony, sister-in-law Yolanda Sansone and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2pm to 6pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funeral, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am, Monday, January 11, 2021 at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River with burial to be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
