Josephine Russo

Josephine Russo (nee Cocuzza) 101, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.

Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Belleville, NJ, before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1986.

Josephine worked for Tri Chem in Belleville, NJ for many years before her retirement.

She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twsp.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2015.

She is survived by her two sons Gennaro Russo and his wife Carol of Ocean Gate, NJ and Salvatore Russo and his wife Angela Capanna of Manhattan, NY, two grandchildren Michael & Jenna and four great grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, Evangeline and Liliana

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 19, 2025 9:00am – 11:30am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12:00pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.  Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memoria Park, Toms River.
