Joshua “Jesse” Ralph Anastasio, 86, of Berkeley Township, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Joshua was born December 16, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Ralph Anastasio and Ida Sardo Lobrano. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and trusted friend to many. He was a hardworking man who loved and committed his life to his family. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was a retired dispatcher for New York City Transit.
Although he will be greatly missed, the family finds comfort in knowing that they will see him again in heaven. Joshua became a born again Christian when he called upon the Lord Jesus to save him last summer. He found peace in knowing his sins were forgiven and that the promise of eternal life was his because Jesus died in his place.
