Judith H. Hudson

Judith Hudson, 84, of Holiday City West, Berkeley Township, left us peacefully on February 11, 2025, at home, surrounded by the compassionate care of VNA Hospice Care. She was born on March 4, 1940, at Clara Mass Memorial Hospital in Newark, NJ to the parents of Helen Wladyka Roznoy and Frank Roznoy.

Judith graduated from Clara Mass Memorial School of Nursing, where she began her lifelong dedication to caring for others as a registered nurse. Her expansive career spanned multiple disciplines, including hospital nursing, private duty nursing, nursing homes, doctors' offices, industrial nursing, and school nursing. She also participated in the Harvard Medical Landmark Nurses Women’s Health Study for over 50 years.

Judith was respected not only for her nursing skills but also for her compassionate nature and her unwavering commitment to her patients. On June 10, 1961, Judith married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Hudson, and they shared a beautiful journey filled with love, adventure, and shared dreams. Judith was known for her zest for life and her many interests, which included a passion for reading, enjoying sunny afternoons, cooking delicious meals for her family, solving puzzles, bowling, bocci, and her unwavering love for Pepsi. A devoted mother and grandmother, Judith took great joy in her family.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Hudson, and her children; Donna Marie Anilonis and her husband Bryon Anilonis, Daniel Hudson and his wife Jonna Hudson, and Michael Wojcik. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Jamie Kirts, Andy Kirts and his wife Bailey Kirts, Jenny Ramirez and husband John Ramirez, Michael Anilonis and fiance Alexa Semler, Kimberly Anilonis, Gregory Anilonis, and Eric Anilonis. She also welcomed her first great-grandchild Adleigh Kirts. Judith is also remembered fondly by many cherished family members, friends, and neighbors who her warmth and kindness have touched.

A memorial service in honor of Judith’s life will be held on February 28th from 2-5 PM at Ryan’s Funeral Home. The address is 145 Saint Catherine Boulevard, Toms River, NJ, 08755. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her remarkable life, share cherished memories, and find comfort in the love she imparted to all who knew her.
