June Piret

June B. Piret, 77, of Ocean Beach III, Lavallette, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Complete Care at Green Acres in Toms River, surrounded by her three loving children and daughters-in-law.

June was born August 5, 1947, to the late Jean Tanderis in Wallington, NJ. She grew up in Wallington and later moved to Wood-Ridge, NJ where together she lived with her husband and raised their three children. June worked for many years as a legal secretary before moving to Ocean Beach III with her husband to enjoy their retirement years at the Jersey Shore.

June, affectionately known as “Junie”, was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed taking walks with her husband Tom, playing competitive games of Mexican Dominoes, and weekly Bingo Nights at the Crab's Claw Inn with her husband and their beach friends. She was an extremely proud mom and grandma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She had a kind heart and a friendly personality and would stop to chat or lend a helping hand at every opportunity. She was an exceptional baker who loved to share her sweet treats with everyone. June was fortunate to have many lifelong friends who were more like family. They spent weekends, vacations, holidays, and many other important life events together.

Predeceased by her brother, Edward Tanderis, and her loving husband of 55 years, Thomas Piret, she is survived by her son Brian Piret and his wife Carey of Wood Ridge, NJ, her daughter Kelly Piret of East Rutherford, NJ, and her son Tommy Piret and his wife Kathy of Wood-Ridge, NJ, along with her two beloved grandchildren, Julie Piret and Vincent Rege.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1pm to 5pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Highway 35 North, Lavallette. All Committal Services will be held privately.
