Karl Joseph "Joe" Litzenberger, 67, of Whiting, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Long Branch on October 25, 1957, Joe grew up in Jackson, NJ. A highly skilled and certified career shop mechanic, he dedicated many years to his craft, working with companies such as Mazda, Ford, and Lincoln. In 2020, he settled in Whiting to enjoy a well-earned retirement.
Joe had a deep love for cars, cooking, music, and his pets. An avid gardener, he took great pride in watching his roses bloom each year. Known for his warmth, humor, and passion for life, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Essie (Reynolds) Litzenberger. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal; son-in-law, Matt; beloved grandchildren, James and Abigail; his cherished cat, Princess; as well as extended family and many dear friends.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the banquet hall of the Jackson Moose, 560 Monmouth Road, Millstone, NJ. Please contact the family for more information.
