Kathleen Rahner

Kathleen Rahner (nee Piskadlo), 69, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she lived in Union, NJ before moving to Toms River over 40 years ago. Kathleen was a 1978 graduate of Montclair State College, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

She worked in Sales at Dow Jones in Springfield while residing in Union, NJ and later, when she moved to Toms River, worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Westminster Nursery School for many years, retiring in 2018.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Martha Piskadlo.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Frank Rahner, two sons Robert Rahner and his wife Lyndsey of Bayville, and Michael Rahner and his wife Gianna of Toms River, a sister Joanne Rij and her husband Michael of Toms River, three grandchildren Rachel, Ryan and Harper and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 2, 2026 4:00pm – 7:00pm and Saturday, January 3, 2026 9:00am – 10:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.  Burial to follow on Saturday at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
