Kenneth Robinson

Kenneth R. Robinson, 99, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. Born in Bloomington, IN, Ken also lived in Jackson and Howell, NJ.  Ken served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and also for 31 years in the U.S. Coast Guard in Air-Sea Rescue. Ken was a member of the DEA 396 Destroyer Escort Association, USS Wisconsin Association, Oregon City SA 122 and Harmony Lodge #18 F.A.M. Ken had an incredible sense of humor and was an avid golfer, even well into his 90’s.

Ken was preceded in death by his first wife, Ada Marie. Surviving Ken is his wife Joan, children with Ada Marie - Susan Norton and husband Don of NM, Kenneth Robinson II and his wife Margaret of PA, Cynthia Anderson and husband Carl of AZ and Brian J. Robinson and his wife Donna of FL. Ken is also grandfather to 12 grandchildren and great grandfather to 12 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday 2-5pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 Street Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Service will be Friday 9am at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery. Ken was a dedicated donor to the Wounded Warrior Project and would prefer donations made on his behalf in place of flowers sent.
