Kevin J. Gately

Kevin J. Gately, 93, of Holiday City, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Born in Hoboken, NJ, he lived in Union City, Bergenfield, and Barnegat before moving to Berkeley Twp. 15 years ago.

Kevin worked for the United States Post Office for many years before his retirement.

He was a United States Air Force Korean War Veteran and was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joan (nee Bishop), two daughters Joann Hill of Newfoundland, NJ, and Kim Gately of Randolph, NJ, a son Sean Gately of Wall Twp., NJ, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 10, 2025 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, March 11, 2025 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.  Burial to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ.
