Kiley Armstrong Obituary

Kiley Anne Armstrong entered eternal rest on Friday, March 7, 2025. She was 21.

Born at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 to loving parents Phillip C. and Jocelyn Armstrong, Kiley was a lifelong resident of Toms River. She was a 2021 graduate of Toms River High School North, after which she attended the University of Massachusetts for two years, then transferred to Rowan University. Kiley was on track to graduate this May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, and aspired to continue her education with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Kiley worked for the B&B Department Store in Lavallette for the past several summers while home from college, and interned as a Physical Therapy Aide at JAG Physical Therapy on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River.

Right around October 2020, Kiley’s family began hearing the name “Evan” pop up in casual conversation, and once it started, it never stopped. She and her longtime boyfriend Evan Fiore started dating the next month, falling in love all but instantaneously, and they were inseparable thereafter – a perfect match. Her transfer from UMass to Rowan was no coincidence, taking place in large part so she could be closer to family – and Evan.

Kiley enjoyed spending quiet nights hanging out with Evan and being with family and friends as much as anything. She annually looked forward to Christmas in Cape May, the Spring Baking Championship, summers spent on the beach, and most recently, double dates with Krista and Ryan, any and every chance they had. She also loved Mario Tennis & Soccer, line dancing, country music, and most recently, snowboarding with Evan. Among her most cherished possessions were a wide variety of stuffed animal friends, including a particular favorite in Snoopy.

She will be as deeply missed as she was deeply loved by all of those who knew her best.

Kiley was predeceased by Fraternal Grandparents Phillip F. and Helen Armstrong, and by a Maternal Grandfather, Joseph Hernandez. She is survived by a great many relatives and close friends, including Parents Phillip C. and Jocelyn Armstrong, Siblings Phillip J. & his wife Jessica, Harper, and Identical Twin Krista, a Grandmother, Juanita Hernandez, and many close Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

A viewing has been scheduled to take place from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 20 at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 Saint Catherine Boulevard in Toms River.
