Leonard Paul Capobianco, 76, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2025 at his home next to his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda.
Len was born on December 4th, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to Paul and Rose Capobianco. Len grew up in Flatbush with his mother, father, brother, and sister. Len and Linda were married on March 8th, 1969. Leonard was a devoted Catholic and was involved with Cursillo, Kairos, and Knights of Columbus and had a passion for helping people. He served in the U.S. Army and was involved with supporting veterans through Centurions for Christ. Len's true passion was aiding others in their time of need. His passion for helping incarcerated individuals through the Kairos ministry touched many lives over many decades. Len loved to play the guitar, cook for and spend time with all his family, and travel with Linda, where they created cherished memories together. Len lived for his family and is survived by his wife Linda (Tardo) Capobianco, three sons, Paul Capobianco, Pasquale Capobianco and his wife Danielle, Christopher Capobianco and his fiancée Tracy Hanna, son-in-law Leonard Davis and wife Joan; grandchildren Hope Davis and fiancé George Sebastian, Paige Davis and partner Brian Coupe, Ella, Gabriel and Santino Capobianco. Len is predeceased by his mother and father, brother Philip Capobianco, sister Paula Cossack, daughter Valerie (Capobianco) Davis and grandson Luca Joseph Capobianco.
Family will received friends on Sunday April 6, 2025 from 2-4pm and 7-9m at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ 08757. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 7, 2025 10am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township, NJ. Committal will be Private.
