Lorraine DiGeorge

Lorraine DiGeorge, 92 of Berkeley Township, passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Lorraine was born May 23, 1932, in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph and Catherine Skrotsky. She was a loving wife, trusted sister, inspirational aunt and valued friend. She is best described as an intelligent woman that loved Jeopardy and always knew the answers. Lorraine was always a positive force to be around that would go out of her way to help her family who adored her. She was beautiful inside and out. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lorraine is predeceased by her parents, Joseph Skrotsky; Catherine McLaughlin; sisters, Katherine Urquhart and Virginia Turro. Lorriane is survived by her husband, John DiGeorge, numerous nieces & nephew and great nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, January 9. 2025 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River, NJ with Burial to follow privately at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
