Lucy (Napolitano) Mitchell

Lucy Mitchell (nee Napolitano), 93, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a lifelong resident before moving to Toms River 4 years ago.

Lucy was a former secretary at Angel Guardian Home in Brooklyn, NY and was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Anthony Mitchell, in 2019.

Lucy is survived by her three children Larry Mitchell and his wife Leslie, John Mitchell,  and Fran Mitchell, a sister Jean Casazza, six grandchildren Michael (Karen), Marc (Emily), Adam, Lawrence (Danna), Alex (Rebecca), and Scott (Kayla) and two great grandchildren Elizabeth and Dominic.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 18, 2024 2:00pm – 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, July 19, 2024 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.  Burial to follow at Green Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
