Mae Wilma DiPaolo, 96 of Toms River, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Mae was born March 4, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mae was a long time member of the Simpson United Methodist Church, in Old Bridge, NJ . She was an avid bowler, loved crocheting, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. She served her community by volunteering her time at the local hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mae is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Anthony DiPaolo; son-in-law Donald Clarke; 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
Mae is survived by her son, John Clark and his wife Brenda of Arkansas; Kathy Clarke of Toms River. Grandchildren, Justin Wait and his wife Lisette of South Plainfield; Sara Johnson and her husband Dennis; Stephanie Lee and her husband Kenton. Great grandchildren Sarah Wait; Jenna Johnson and Courtney Lee. Stepchildren, Diane Checchio and her husband Guy; Robert DiPaolo and his wife Joann; Nanette Januszkiewicz and her husband John and Anthony DiPaolo; 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2 pm to 4pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, New Jersey
