Maria Spoto Obituary

Maria Spoto, 90, of Brick, NJ died on Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Concord Health Nursing Center. Maria was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She lived in North Arlington, NJ before moving to Lavallette, NJ for over 40 years. She was an administrative assistant for Western Electric in S. Kearny, NJ. Maria was known for her red hair. She made friends easily and was loved by all who met her.

Maria is predeceased by her parents Patsy and Mary Scarola, her brother Frank Scarola, and husband Peter Spoto.

Surviving are her son Gary Stevens and his wife Bonnie, her step-daughter Rosemary Sherman and her husband Matthew and their son Nicholas.

The arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Ave. Seaside Park, NJ. Committal will be private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
