Marian L (Bodeo) Thorpe

Marian L. Thorpe, 75 of Berkeley Township, passed from this life Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was born August 8, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey. Marian was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She is best described by her husband and children as a woman with a big heart, putting everyone else first. Anyone who knew her, knew she always got the last word. She was one of a kind. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, playing Bingo and was involved with the Women’s Club of Holiday City, Care Free.

Marian is predeceased by her parents, John Bodeo and Mildred Sweigart Bodeo.

Marian is survived by Husband, Ronald Thorpe; son, James Thorpe and his wife Donna of Clifton; daughter, Audrey Flynn and her husband James of Pompton Lakes; grandchildren, Katelynn Thorpe and fiancé Hector Ortiz; Kevin Thorpe; Kyle Flynn; Karley Flynn; niece, Nicole Murano, nephew, Anthony Florio and extended Sweigart Family.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm with a service to begin at 6pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
