Marianne Petersen Obituary

Marianne L. Petersen (Milano), 78, of the Normandy Shores section of Toms River Township., died on Sunday. April 4, 2021.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she lived in South River, NJ before moving to Normandy Shores 28 years ago.

Marianne and her husband Robert owned and operated South River Iron Works in South River for many years.

She was an active member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Normandy Beach and later at the Parish of Padre Pio in Lavallette, NJ.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Robert, son Christopher of Bricktown, NJ, two daughters Nicole Shepard of Richmond, Va, and Lou Anne Conant of Superior, Co, a sister Joy Anne Skurbe and six grandchildren.

All Services are private and under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ.
