Marie (Galasso) Fazzari

Marie Fazzari, 107, of St. Cloud, Florida & Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 with her daughter Kathleen present.

Marie was born in Newark, NJ on April 14, 1918 to the late Anthony & Ann Galasso.

Marie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, & mother.

Marie met Rocco in their hometown of Newark and were married in St. Lucy's Church in 1945. In 1948 their daughter Kathleen Ann was born. She was the light of their lives.

Marie was employed for many years for Secret Service as an Administrative Assistant. Marie retired at the age of 65.  Marie & Rocco then moved to Toms River, NJ & St. Cloud, Florida to start enjoying their retired life.

Her beloved Husband Rocco passed away in 2012. They had a loving marriage for 67 years.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, brothers Michael & Nicolas & her sister Gilda.

Marie is survived by her loving and very devoted daughter Kathleen, who was her full time caregiver for many years.

Marie lived a long and successful life, a woman ahead of her time as proved by her long employment with her government job. She was a quiet and gentle woman always showing kindness and generosity to her family. Marie was a "one of a kind' lady. May she rest in heaven with her beloved husband Rocco, her parents, and her brothers & sister. She is at peace in the arms of her Angels.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 13, 2025 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, November 14, 2025 10:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River.  Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
