Marietta Rose Giordano, 85, of Jackson Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Born in Bronx, NY, she moved to Jackson, NJ in 1954. Marietta was a School Bus Driver for the Jackson Township Board of Education for 35 years. She was a devout Catholic and member of the Rosarians of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church of Jackson, NJ for many years. She was a loving Mother and devoted Wife. Predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Giordano in 2018, father C. Michael Tirico, mother Marie H. Tirico and brother Anthony M. Tirico. Surviving are her children Charles Mahieu, Cynthia Mahieu, Joseph Mahieu and Pamela Mahieu Specht and her husband, Joseph Specht; her step-children Dawn Garfalo and husband Robert, and Joseph Giordano and wife Sara; her siblings Michelle Kravchak and Michael Tirico, 7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her many Nieces and Nephews and her dearest Friends. The family will be holding a memorial service at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, NJ in the near future to provide a space for reflection and prayer in honor of Marietta. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.
