Marlene A. Illanovsky

Marlene Ann Illanovsky, 54, of Berkeley Twsp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Born in Plainfield, NJ, she lived in Linden, NJ, before moving to Toms River 21 years ago. She was a proud member of the Sea Scouts throughout High School, as well as a founding member of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she graduated from in 1990, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering. Marlene was a dedicated parishioner of St. John the Baptist RO Church. She enjoyed concerts at the shore and listening to music. She is preceded in death by her father Peter Paul Illanovsky. Marlene will be forever missed by her mother Marguerite (Shomsky) Illanovsky, and her siblings; Jerry Illanovsky, John Illanovsky, and Yvonne Howard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 9am to 10am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
