Mary Cavanna, 87, of Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Mary was born in Belleville, NJ and moved to Berkeley Twsp., NJ in 2015. She was an operator for NJ Bell Tell in Newark, NJ. Mary was the Past PTA President of #10 school in Belleville, NJ and a Girl Scout Leader. She was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ.

Mary is predeceased by her parents James and Violet Banta and her husband John Cavanna in 2018.

Surviving are her children JoAnn Rasinski of Brick, NJ, Catherine Hara and her husband Michael of Norwalk, CT, Mary Ann Cox-Hipkin and her husband Bill of Plainfield, NJ and her 8 Grandchildren.

The arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Entombment will be private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
