Mary M. Gould

Marie Gould, 89 of Jackson Township, passed from this life peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025. Marie was born December 9, 1935 in Montclair, New Jersey to the late William and Philomena (McEnery) Carragher.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She was very outgoing and had a great group of friends. She was an involved member of St. Monica RC Church, as a Eucharistic minister, and grew very close with her church family. She is best described as a giver, helping anyone she could. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marie is predeceased by her parents, William and Philomena Carragher; sisters; Ann Ciriello, Catherine Magauran; brothers, Thomas Carragher; William “Bill” Carragher; Francis “Joe” Carragher and Eugean “Pat” Carragher. Marie is survived by her husband and best friend, David Howard Gould, Sr., son; David Gould, Jr. and his wife June, sisters; Eilleen Passari, Elaine Stevens and her husband Bob, Alice Paris and her husband Jack; grandchildren; Zoe Gould, Zia Gould and Zyler Gould.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 9am to 10;30am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals DeBow Chapel, 150 W. Veterans Blvd., Jackson. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am, Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at St. Monica RC Church with Burial to follow at William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of Flowers please make a donation to St Monica’s Roman Catholic Church, 679 W. Veterans Hwy, Jackson, NJ 08527.
