She went on to work with the guidance department of Ocean County College and tutored advanced math at Georgian Court College after retirement.
Mary Louise was a loving, gracious, and intelligent person. She was an unstoppable and committed person. Her family and husband of 54 years were the center of her life at home. “Macaroni Sundays” with our large family sitting around the table will be ingrained in our hearts forever. Her table gathered five generations of family in her lifetime.
The legacy of kindness was passed from her to her children and their children. Mary Palombo had 4 children, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She will never be forgotten by her family and friends, and the many students whose lives she helped shape and guide.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Thursday September 16, 2021 at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
