MaryAnn Baginski Obituary

MaryAnn Baginski passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the age of 83.

She was predeceased by her parents Helen and Steve Husaczka and her brother Steve Douglas.  Her beloved husband Joseph passed away in 2013 after 50 years of a wonderful, loving marriage.

Her greatest joy was her family.  She is survived by her daughter Kathy Festino (Don), Robin Kelly (Paul) and son Dan Baginski (Jennifer).

She leaves behind her grandchildren, whom she adored, Amanda, Nick, Shane, Jack, Julia, Alex and great granddaughter Jada.

She is survived by several cousins, especially Barbara Curilla and her dear friend Nora Mosher.  She loved her Bingo and Atlantic City. She always said she had wonderful Bingo friends.

MaryAnn was born in New York and moved to Ewing in 1956.  After moving from Ewing, she settled in Lavallette for 35 years.

She was a Registered Nurse who spent the last 10 years of her career as a Hospice Nurse. She felt hospice work was a wonderful opportunity to meet courageous families at a critical and stressful time of their lives.

She and her husband loved the town of Lavallette and they both dedicated years of service to the town.  Together they ran the Island Baseball League on the barrier island.  MaryAnn served in various organizations:  The Lavallette Business Association, the Friends of Beautification, the Lavallette Seniors and the Seaside Deborah.  Her biggest contribution was serving on the Lavallette Board of Education for 33 years.

She was always grateful for her wonderful life.
