Michael J. Guariglia

Dr. Michael J. Guariglia, 65, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 surrounded by his beloved family.

Born in Somerville, NJ, he lived in Rome, NY before moving to Toms River in 2016. Michael received his Bachelor’s Degree from West Liberty State College, WV and his Master’s Degree from Radford University.

He earned his Doctorate Degree from Coastal Carolina University in Southern California. He was a Forensic Psychologist at Central New York Psychiatric Center for 30 years. Michael also worked as an EAP Coordinator and formed a Critical Incidence Response Team for the State of New York.

His passion in life was his family. Michael was a devoted husband and father. He was an accomplished drummer and enjoyed playing basketball.

Michael was also a dedicated coach for J.V. Football in Clinton, NY for 3 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Genevieve Guariglia.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Constance (nee Orecchio), his twin sons Michael and Matthew Guariglia, and his five grandchildren, Noah Guariglia, Khloe Guariglia, Lilianna Caro, Alexander Cutler, and Heaven Boisclair.

Celebration of Life will be at a future date.
