Michael Martirano of Manalapan, NJ passed away at the age of 92.

Raised in Italy, he immigrated to the United States as a teenager settling in Newark, NJ.  A man of many talents, Michael was a barber, restaurateur and a successful entrepreneur living the American dream.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all.

Michael is survived by his wife Norma Martirano, daughter Josephine Tutela and her husband Ronald Tutela, daughter-in-law Patti Martirano, daughter Melissa D’Andola and her husband Nick D’Andola, step-son Anthony Fernicola, sister Rosa (Martirano) Dotro, grandchildren Jacqueline and her husband Michael, Daniella and her husband Elsner, Ronnie Michelle, Michael and his fiance Brittany, and Nick.  He had three great grandchildren Aiden, Sofia, and Adriana.  He also had numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Pasquale Martirano, his parents Pasquale and Guiseppina (LaTorre), and his siblings Frank, Rocco, Antonio & Jack Martirano.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.  A funeral service will be offered Thursday, April 2, 2026 10:00am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
