Mildred Florence (Lutz) Ciak

Mildred (Flo) Ciak, 95, of the Ortley Beach section of Toms River Township died at home Sunday, July 20, 2025. Prior to moving to Ortley Beach she was a resident of Newark and Nutley. Flo is predeceased by her husband Charles and youngest son John. She is survived by her two loving sons, Joseph of Ortley Beach, Karl and his wife Cathleen of Island Heights and three grandchildren: Nathaniel, Nora and Grace.

She was an active member of the Women of the Moose and the Ortley Beach SeaBay Club (now defunct). In her younger years she was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family, especially Uno with her grandchildren. Flo would often be found sitting on her front porch waving hello to neighbors as they went to and from the beach. She had a great love for people, particularly her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday July 28, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 NW Central Ave. Seaside Park, NJ 08752. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 29, 2025 10am at St. Catharine RC Church, Seaside Park, NJ. Committal will be Private. Condolence may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
