Monica B. Norton

Monica B. Norton (Sochaczewski) of Toms River, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2020.

She was born March 28, 1949 in Munster, Germany to Damazy and Hildegard (Klug) Sochaczewski. The family arrived in New York City on 12-24-1951 and settled in Jersey City, where she spent many happy years.

Monica had various jobs in her lifetime, from waitress to cashier, to clerical worker. Monica worked hard as a single mother and always saw the good things in whatever came her way.

She loved oldies music, especially the 1950's and loved to travel the United States and wanted to see it all.

Monica will be missed by all who knew her.

Monica was preceded in death by her husband Keith, her father and mother, and two brothers, Eberhard and Stanislaw.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Lynn; granddaughter Marie Boswell; great grandchildren Jayden, Eliana, and Mia; her sister Ursula Scardigno, nephews and niece Paul, Stefan and Amanda.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday August 17, 2020 at St Maximillian Kolbe Church, Berkeley Twp., NJ. Interment to follow at 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J.
