Patricia (Kennedy) Harrigfeld

 Patricia Harrigfeld, 79, of Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Thursday October 8, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Toms River, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ 11 years ago. She was a graduate of Toms River High School(1958).

Patricia was a founding member of the Toms River Soccer Association Girls League, a life member of the East Dover First Aid, on the Bayshore Property Owners’ Association and St. Joseph RC Church Social Concerns Committee. She was a member of the Jersey Shore Irish American Club and involved with the Patricia Murphy Irish Step Dancing. Patricia was a member of the Holiday City Carefree Dart League, Women’s Club, Bocce Club and Shuffle Board Club. 

Patricia is predeceased by her parents James and Ann (Hegarty) Kennedy.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 59 years,  Fred Harrigfeld of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; her children Fred Harrigfeld, Jr. and his wife Paula, Ann MacCormack and her husband Bill and Kate Trahan all of Toms River, NJ and her seven grandchildren; James, Bridget, Patrick, Margaret, Shane, Katherine & Fiona.

Family will receive friends on Monday October 12, 2020 from 3-6pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday October 13, 2020 at 10am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Entombment will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Popcorn Park Zoo www.ahscares.org.
