Patricia Marie Moran

Patricia Marie Moran, 91, of Lavallette NJ passed away peacefully on June 2nd in Wilmington, NC.

She was born September 13th in Hackensack, NJ and grew up in Wood-Ridge, NJ. She attended St. Mary’s R.C. High School  in Rutherford, NJ and graduated in 1947. Patricia was a cheerleader and active leader in St. Mary’s Student Council. Upon graduation from HS, she attended the prestigious Gibbs Secretarial School in Manhattan. Upon graduation from secretarial school, she worked as an Executive Assistant at J.W. Thompson Advertising Agency in Midtown Manhattan, where she cultivated a multitude of friends.

Pat was an active member of Saint Pio’s Catholic Church, Lavallette for more than 30 years, where she led the rosary, was a daily communicant, served as a lector and was a participant in her faith sharing group.

Patricia is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and two sisters in laws. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Mary Moran and brothers Francis A. Moran, Thomas Moran and Edward Moran.

Patricia will be remembered for her contagious laugh, sharp wit, love of travel and mostly her love for family and friends.

Friends and family may visit at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals,  706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ on Monday, June 14th from 2-6 pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 15th at 10:00 am at Saint Pio of Pietrelcina in Lavallette, NJ. Burial will follow to St. Catharine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt, NJ.
