Patrick J. Thompson

Patrick J. Thompson, 65, of Middletown, NJ, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Newark, NJ, he moved to Middletown, NJ in 1985.

Patrick worked at Shop Rite in Middletown, NJ for 20 years. He loved to travel especially to Disney and on cruises. When a camera was rolling he loved to show you his dance moves.   He was loved by everyone that met him and was a sweet soul who will be missed by all of us that knew him. He was a hero at the end and donated the gift of life through his organ donations.

He was predeceased by his father Donald Thompson, step-father Ira Seals and nephew Joe Longo.

Patrick is survived by his mother Louise Seals of Berkeley Twp., NJ, three siblings Cyndi McMillan and her husband Randy of Forked River, NJ, Mary Longo of Toms River, NJ, Robert Thompson of North Carolina, nephews Steven Longo of Forked River NJ, Michael Longo of Manahawkin, Justin Longo of Matawan NJ, Joshua Pawlak of Forked River, Julia Pawlak of Toms River NJ and many more nieces and nephews along with a great niece and great nephew.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 23, 2025 2:00pm – 5:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A funeral service will be offered Monday, November 24, 2025 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting, NJ.
