Raymond V. Jankowski, 83 of Berkeley Township, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Raymond was born July 19, 1942 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Peter and Albina Jankowski. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He served the citizens of Elizabeth, New Jersey as a Police Officer for over 25 years before retiring and later served as a Probation Officer for Union County, New Jersey. He volunteered his time and formed the Elmora Youth Baseball League in Elizabeth. He enjoyed spending his time making memories with his family. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Raymond is predeceased by his parents, Peter Paul Jankowski and Albina Piotrowksi Jankowski.
Raymond is survived by his best friend and wife of over 63 years, Beryl Rogers Jankowski; sons, Vincent Jankowski and his wife Janice; Dean Jankowski; Raymond John Jankowski and his wife Stacy; daughters, Paula Jankowski; Amy Williams and her husband Anthony; grandchildren, David Sopko; Lisa White; Peter Jankowski; Jake Jankowski; Mackenzie Williams and Reese Jankowski.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church with Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown.
