Raymond H. Meyers

Raymond H. Meyers, 85 of Whiting, passed from this life peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023. 

Raymond was born May 6, 1937 in Jersey City to the late Edward and Blanche Meyers. Raymond retired from PSE&G after almost 39 years of dedicated service. Raymond held several positions during his career, with majority of that time proudly consisting of being a Class A Heavy Equipment Operator and retiring a Line Inspector. He was a loving husband and devoted father.  He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting & fishing with his sons, former longtime NRA member and he loved horse racing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Raymond is predeceased by his parents, Edward Meyers, Sr. and Blanche Novak Meyers.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Pissott Meyers; sons, Raymond Meyers of Whiting; Joseph Meyers and his partner Elaine Rios of Middlesex; Jason Meyers of Pennsylvania; brother, Edward Meyers and his wife Frieda Meyers of Whiting; sister in law, Patricia Polack and her partner Scott; grandchildren, Melissa Meyers; McKenzie Meyers; Patrick Meyers; great grandson Jayden Meyers; and other nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 12pm to 2pm with a service to begin at 1:30pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
