Raymond Squillante, Jr., 81, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024.
A lifelong resident of Bayonne, NJ, Ray retired to Berkeley Twp. 20 years ago.
Raymond was a Boilerman for Best Foods in Bayonne, NJ for 47 years before his retirement. In addition, he worked part-time as a Boilerman for 10 years at Meridan Hospital in Brick, NJ.
He was predeceased by his parents Raymond Sr.; Fannie Squillante, brothers, Thomas Squillante; Jimmy Squillante; Joseph Squillante and Louie Squillante.
Raymond is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 62 years Denise (nee Kelleher), his two children Rénise Sloyan and her husband Dennis and Raymond Squillante, III and his wife Marylu, two grandchildren Megan Delacruz and her husband Matthew and Raymond Squillante IV, and three great grandchildren Logan, Paige and Connor, and two step-grandchildren, Ashley and Christopher.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 14, 2024 4:00pm – 8:00pm with a funeral service to be offered on 6:00pm and Friday, November 15, 2024 9:00am – 10:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Burial to follow on Friday at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Raymonds favorite charities, Deborah Heart and Lung Center or the Gideons International.
