Richard A. Bluhm

Richard A. Bluhm, 74, of Monroe, NJ passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Spotswood and Monroe Twsp., NJ before moving to Bayville. He was a Longshoreman for Sealand Service in Port Elizabeth, NJ. Richie was the founding President of Spotswood Soccer Club; he served on the Spotswood Board of Recreation, and was the Chairman for Ocean Medical Center Fair Fundraising. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Dorothy (Merkel). Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Karol (Gorman), his daughters; Denise and her husband Dennis Wood of Monroe Twsp, NJ, and Christine Bluhm and her significant other Donald Quintero of Bayville, NJ, and two grandsons; Dylan and Ryan Wood. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 3 to 7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 US Hwy 9, Bayville, NJ.
